If You Want More, Do More

Oftentimes in life, we envision our goals and aspirations but we let our fears prevent us from attaining them. As a young girl, I used to visualize being an adult and having the freedom to do and buy whatever I want. Nevertheless, as I went through college, graduated, and joined the workforce as an educator; reality set in and I quickly realized that being an adult was not quite what I imagined it to be.

Don’t get me wrong, I am extremely grateful for my family, my career, and the multiple lives that I have touched over the last 19 years, but I have come to a place in my life where status quo isn’t enough anymore. I want the opportunity to do more for my family and those in need. In order to make this a reality, I can’t keep doing the same thing and expect to get a new outcome. I am committed to venture out of my comfort zone and accomplish new objectives.

I want you to take a moment and truly reflect on what you would like to accomplish in your personal and professional life within the next year. Don’t limit your thoughts, just think about what you want to fulfill in your life. If you are ready to make the most of your essence, then read the tips below that can help you move in the right direction.

  • You are “inferior” to no other person.

  • Less thinking, more doing.

  • Be grateful for what is in front of you.

  • Stay true to your authentic self.

  • Failure and pain are life’s greatest teachers.

  • Knowledge is useless without action.

  • The world needs the special gift that only you can offer.

I challenge each one of you to choose three or more of the life tips above and create a plan that you can begin implementing within the next two months. Don’t let fear prevent you from achieving your aspirations and goals. You don’t have to wait until everything seems perfect, just move into action and you won’t regret it.

I am presently working on some of my personal and professional goals and I am here to support, motivate, and encourage each one of you to do the same.

“If you want to have more, you have to become more”.
